Dr. Arella Chen graduated with a Bachelor of Dental Surgery from the National University of Singapore (NUS) and enhanced her expertise with a Masters of Dental Surgery in Orthodontics from NUS. This advanced training was complemented by dual accreditation from the Royal College of Surgeons Edinburgh. She is a recognised Orthodontist and Braces Specialist with the Singapore Dental Council.

Formerly an Associate Consultant at the National Dental Centre of Singapore (NDCS), Dr. Arella is committed to providing a comfortable and effective treatment experience for all her patients. Her exceptional clinical work and patient care have been recognised with awards such as the NDCS target Zero harm award 2023 and the Singapore Health Quality Service Award 2022 (Silver Award). Dr. Arella is also an accredited Invisalign provider and a Visiting Specialist at NDCS.

Dedicated to lifelong learning, Dr. Arella consistently updates herself with the latest dental technologies and practices by attending significant global orthodontic events. She also played an educational role as a lecturer at the World Oral Health Day Public Forum (2023) - titled "Braces or Corrective Surgery: Let’s Straighten Out the Facts!"

Additionally, Dr. Arella was involved in international humanitarian work, participating in dental missions in Cambodia to help improve dental health in these communities.

Outside of her professional activities, Dr. Arella enjoys spending quality time with her son and 2 cats.
