Dr Tan Qing Zhen obtained his Bachelor of Dental Surgery at the National University of Singapore (NUS).

Dr Tan subsequently attended a 3 year full-time post-graduate school under scholarship and received the Masters of Dental Surgery in Orthodontics from NUS, with dual accreditation from the Royal College of Surgeons Edinburgh. He is a Braces Specialist, Orthodontist in Singapore registered with the Singapore Dental Council. Dr Tan was awarded the Invisalign Platinum provider award in 2021.

He previously served 6 years at the National Dental Centre of Singapore (NDCS), exclusively practising the Specialty of Orthodontics. Dr Tan is adept in providing a comprehensive range of specialised orthodontic treatments, including Invisalign, Damon braces, metal braces, ceramic braces, and braces in tandem with jaw correction surgery. He also cares for children and teens via Interceptive braces treatment for assisted tooth eruption and jaw growth modification. He is passionate and invigorated by helping his patients achieve their best smile!

Dr Tan keeps abreast of latest developments in dentistry, with special interest in the digital transformation of Dentistry. He is a firm believer that better quality care can be delivered via latest technology. He is also an active member of the Association of Orthodontists, Singapore (AOS).

Outside of work, Dr Tan hits the gym with heavy weights to build strength. Notwithstanding, he prides himself in gentle care for his patients, engaging them with his caring personality. Through empathic understanding of his patients’ needs and preferences, Dr Tan is skilled at helping them feel at ease, ensuring a comfortable and pleasant experience.
